I spend a lot of time in my laundry, what with two daughters dancing most days of the week and four of us in the house, not including a dog and two cats. My laundry has not been a pleasant place to work in for the past nine years we've lived in this house. But that's about to change.Here's my laundry as it was a few days ago:
One thing leads to another and now we're putting in new white melamine cupboards on the right-hand side of the laundry with a long benchtop along the wall. Our handyman Jeff has started painting the walls a colour called "Imagine" by Dulux. The brown tiles will be painted the same colour.There'll be shallow wall cupboards above the washing machine and to the right of the window, with lovely new mosaic tiles underneath.
As I write this, the ebay cupboards are coming up the stairs into the house.

We had to rip out the cupboard on the right because it had water damage. A few days ago I bought a 2m length of extremely tall white melamine laundry cupboards on ebay to put on the left-hand wall, where the creme louvered cupboard and wire baskets were. But with the cupboard on the right coming out, there's an ugly great gap to fill.
